Pros and cons of Omnio: Clinical Resource app for iPhone and iPad
Omnio: Clinical Resource app good for
Omnio — coupled with Dynamed — is a must have app for GPs.
I love it !
A great collection of useful medical resources all in one place.
This app has saved my Nursing career many times. I can access it easily and have the most current info at my fingertips. Love it!
Trouble remembering in what section things are too many icons
Among many other Apps out there this one seems to be more reliable and resourceful; however:
-most of their references are quite pricy;
-references miss sufficient pre-purchase information;
-a free one-hour, one-day demo is needed to validate the content prior to purchase an expensive reference;
-still requires work to be more user-friendly, interactive and fun.
Excellent and easy to find information about drug doses pictures to identify pills and side effect profile
Some bad moments
I agree: its just a sale-basement. Loaded it just because i wanted to have in my pocket one real book i bought few days ago in a bookstore
Since the update my payed books are not available! Contacted the customer service several times, but whereis my book?
Many titles
Difficult updating one title and revolving door help that was not useful
Can only install on one device and an excess amount of control from developer
"Security features" and registration of device is early 1990s
I personally feel that the app needs to add so many stuff into it belongs to medical area. Otherwise it is good though.
Im second year Psych nurse student and this has been my favorite drug app. Easy to navigate and gives me all info I need
Suddenly my app changed and all though the forgot password keeps stating its sending a reset option to my e mail. It has bee a week. And nothing. I am unable to access anything.
